Mommy Approved: Work From Home Attire

Do you work from home? Do you have your own business? I know a lot of military spouses do because its just much more convenient. Well what do you wear? Of course yoga pants and tees are comfortable but what happens when you have to leave the house....... I also thought that way, why not wear yoga pants and old tees but it didn't make me feel like I was going to work. I was never in that mind frame, it just felt like I was always in the house. Putting on clothes actually makes me feel like I'm doing something important. Here are two outfits that you can throw on that are both comfortable and stylish enough for you to run out for a meeting.

5 Things To Pull A Look Together For Date Night: The Married Edition

Being married can be awesome because you get to be yourself, no makeup, basketball shorts and big tee shirts can be worn. You pretty much get super comfortable so it can be really hard to get out that zone especially with kids and if you/spouse have very busy work schedule. For military spouses it can be especially difficult because our spouses are gone for long periods of time. When they come back we need to make sure we step up our game. Really don't over think it. I have a few tips that can make pulling together a date night look simple and easy breezy. 

1. Throw on a jacket- Whether its a blazer, cardigan, biker jacket like the one pictured above; it will pull together your quick look. You can wear jackets with anything; dresses, jeans, you name it! Plus it will most likely be a little chiller at night. 

2. Heels are always great- Heels make anything sexier! 

3. LBD- Also known as a little black dress is always the answer. Always make sure you have a sexy one in the closet for those romantic dates. This dress pictured above may not be for everyone but she is "given life" right ladies!

4. A colored lip- Preferably a red one! 

5. Awesome jewelry- I have been noticing cuffs lately and I am enjoying this look. Throw it around you wrist for a sexy chic look.

Boyfriend Jeans & Chunky Ankle Boots

This really has to be my most favorite colleague that I have done so far this year.  I LOVE everything piece in it! Those shoes are giving me so much life! Do you agree? This outfit can be worn day or  night. When I see women dressed like this running errands or shopping at H&M, it really inspires me to look at my wardrobe and step up my style game. 
I paired these boyfriend jeans with a cream and black blouse. I have been a hat fan for the LONGEST time but I don't actually own any. I guess I can never see myself just randomly wearing one with my type of lifestyle. But I think I'm going to finally do it because when I try them on it just feels right! Throw on some gold jewelry, berry colored lipstick and a cute leopard bag! And under that awesome hat has to be amazing hair for when you take off the hat. That cut and color.....LIFE!!!! 
Truth is I recently got a relaxer........yes I said it a relaxer! I have been post relaxer for 2 years now but honestly for me it was not the healthiest for my hair or me. I really don't like doing my own hair because its so thick and since I try to keep a budget for myself I rather not pay someone to do it when I don't want to. So I ended up getting a Olive Oil relaxer and my hair feels 10x better. I have had it for a little short of a week and I have not had to do anything to it.......and it feels GREAT! It has saved me so much time during my day  just from not having to straight it or twist. I have found a great you-tuber for relaxed hair but she keeps it so healthy. Chic Comfy Weekend

 

Hi Fashionistas!!! Today I want to show you a cute look for spring that you can wear when running around during the weekend. Even if you don't dress like this on a regular this is a cute put together type of outfit that you can hang with the girls, date night, and lunch with kids. Chic but comfy enough to chase after your kids at a mall play area. Of course you would not really want to run but if you had to you would look fab doing so!

 

Stripes are very much a trend this year I believe. I love chiffon tops because even though it is long sleeves the thin fabric is great for good weather temps. Good weather for me is nothing above 80 degrees. Comfortable shorts can make any casual outfit effortlessly chic. Wedges are awesome if you don't normally wear heels but the low wedges are definitely a must have this season. I wanted to add a pop of color with that peach so it can brighten up all the neutral navy. I also threw in a color blocked bag. A lot of moms of smaller children dont like small bags so they end up throwing all they're items in the diaper bag to avoid bagage. I am starting to feel that since I carry a diaper bag for my youngest son, smaller handbags make me feel like less of a bag lady. So even with two bags I can still have my own style.
