Splurge or Save?

I recently saw an article about luxury products, the worth, and is it actually worth the buy. It made me think about a white leather tote bag by Michael Kors that I repinned on Pinterest a few days before. It received over 60 repins and over 40 likes.......that doesn't sound like much to some but that's a plus for a Pinterest beginner like myself. My Pinterest is like my style journal for all the stylish things I love. I do find myself loving a few expensive items but I definitely don't have the budget for them. I often wonder even if I did would I actually buy them or would I go for a cheaper look alike. 9 out of 10 it would be the look alike!

Splurge or Save?

In my mind who wouldn't want a Chanel, Saint Laurent, Prada, or Gucci bag but that Michael Kors bag can be of the same quality for a better affordable price. Now don't get me wrong if you have that extra money to spend on luxury items, by all means buy it! If you receive them as a gift, by all means receive it and be grateful. But if you are like me and don't have those funds please don't feel pressured to live that life. I know I been in that feeling. Trust me there are so many more awesome bags out there in the world. I'm more of a H&M and Forever 21 buyer when it comes to a lot of my purchases including handbags. I love that I can find great quality bags but for a really cheap price at those stores.

Here are a few examples of bags below.  If you are on a smaller budget like myself, the bottom row of bags are Michael Kors bags compared to H&M bags. Which one would you buy?

Ways To Wear Fringe

Ways To Wear Fringe

Fringe is in!!!! Just wanted to show a few ways you can wear fringe this season. I love this trend! Its on almost EVERYTHING now! I love to go to Forever 21 or H&M for my selection on fringe. Stylish trendy pieces for a great affordable price. Here's what I came up with:

1. Fringe shirts can be paired with anything! Loving this look with the red colored cut off shorts.

2. Fringe Kimono, one of the hottest fringe trends out right now! This has to be my favorite look paired with shorts and a white fitted tee.

3. Fringe Dress is sexy for a summer time day date

4. Fringe swimwear

5. Fringe bag

6. Fringe sandals

How To Stay Comfy

How To Stay Comfy

I had a busy week last week. I get to take an exam for a great job that I have been waiting for. As you know I have been laid off since last October. Not to bad but I have definitely been wanting to earn more money. Then on Saturday I have a training class for the internship I'm doing at my oldest son's school. So being that I will be sitting in a classroom setting for both of these I want to be extremely comfortable. Both are 2 hours! Yikes! A lot of moms are in school too so that can mean exams and trainings as well. Above is a comfortable stylish outfit that you can not go wrong with. You don't want to be taking a test or having to listen to someone talk for 2 hours and having to worry about not wearing comfortable clothing. And to be comfortable does not mean sweats or velour suits!
These days in California it has been fairly warm, around 70-75 degrees. Today is actually almost 80! So, you have a nice dark wash jean with cuffs that you can relax in and still feel chic. A cute peplum top and a cardigan to take on and off just in case its chilly in the building. Cute printed flats to spice up your outfit. A nice over sized bag to throw your cardigan in and any supplies you may need.
So check it out and let me know what you think.

Born to be Wild

Born to be Wild

Hi Fashionistas! I have been really wanting to start the whole mixing patterns and colors for myself so I decided to go to Polyvore. I love that site because it helps to bring an outfit together that's in your mind. This look above says "Me" in so many ways but believe it or not I have never worn two prints at once. Its so easy for me to put a client in something like this......but like I said on my birthday post 26 is going to change me! I want to start a "26 Things Before 27" list! I hope you can inspired from my look.

RELAX!!!!

Untitled #15

So my lovely readers, I have been under the weather for the past week. I thought it was my sinus then it turned into a full blown cold. I have been trying to rest as much as possible. Being sick and having to stop doing a few tasks, gave me time to think about my life and future. I am doing a few things right now that aren't making me happy and I have a few ideas in my head that I felt like may only be there because I saw someones success. I realize everyday what God has for me its for me. I may not be doing what I want right now but God makes no mistakes. After reevaluating myself I feel very blessed and ready to get to a fab weekend! Sometimes you just have to sit back and think back over your life. And know that you are blessed no matter what your situation.

I know a lot of Mother's Day events are going on already this weekend. I am hoping to do a bunch of things between now and next Sunday. Most of all I am looking to enjoy myself. Being a mother is the best thing that ever happened to me and I believe its one of the biggest blessings any woman can wish for. I am hoping to get some spa time.....I definitely need it! Even though I cant imagine my life without my boys, I definitely need some peace and quiet mommy time. Maybe I can get a half of day to me.......hint hint to my hubby!

Anyways, the above outfit I am loving! What doesn't say Mother's Day like a cute print! This jumpsuit is saying it all! I am a big fan of jumpsuits they are stylish and so easy. This outfit can be worn to Mother's Day brunches, hanging with your friends, church, etc.......its very versatile. Throw in this lovely Spring color Michael Kors tote bag, Madewell sandals that I want by the way, and some cute arm candy!!! You are set to go!

Last post I told you I would keep you updated on my workouts. Well yesterday I went to the gym for the first time in a whole year. I'm naturally small figured but I am so out of shape. My main goal is to get fit and healthy so I can have more energy for my boys because they have a ton LOL plus it will make me feel great. I am going for a walk today. I haven't really been able keep up with the squat chart but I am up to 50 a day and 50 crunches. Hopefully I can get back to actually doing more posts next week. But until then see ya later!
