Mommy Approved: Easter Sunday Outfits
Easter is coming up soon, as in this Sunday type of soon. What are you going to wear? Dress.....skirt.......pants? I have no clue what I'm wearing but I want to have a few options. Here are some great outfits I put together to wear if you are going to church, on an Easter egg hunt, or a family gathering.  I wanted to put together a lot of prints and color for these looks to feel more like Spring even if where you live is still a little chilly. Of course you can throw on a cute jacket with any of these looks.

Family Day Outfit



This past weekend I got in some serious family time. I was very happy. My husband baked a cake for a kid's birthday party so the whole family got invited to the special occasion. If you got confused by my last statement......yes I said my husband bakes!! Check out his Facebook page at Oh So Delicious his website link is on the page as well. Quick plug LOL!

Anyway, the party was pirate themed and there were a good amount of people. It was also very hot but windy if that makes any sense. I really wish I would've had a hat because I wasn't exactly having the best hair day plus the wind. You didn't have to dress up like a pirate if you didn't want to but I wanted to make sure I was comfortable due to the party being mostly outside with a bunch of children. I wore a really cute denim jumpsuit that I picked up on sale at Forever 21. Paired it with some gold accessories and comfy flats and BOOM! I actually got a ton of unexpected likes on my Instagram picture that I put up, which is below. A lot of very stylish people liked my look and I really appreciate it, really made my day!

I am becoming a big fan of the shorts and sweater look. When I was younger I would always say why do people wear sweaters with shorts? It just makes no sense then I moved to California LOL! This look is everywhere from adults to little kids. Some of my favorite celebrities have been sporting this look too. So more and more I am loving this look but of course when its done RIGHT!!!! The outfit I put together above is my ideal look for this trending style. I am IN LOVE with this sweater from Topshop, its just so Cali! I paired it with some slightly distressed denim shorts, Converse, and a leather tote from Madewell. This is a perfect Spring outfit for a nice lunch date, day of errands, or playdate with your kids.

So being a mommy of two energetic little boys I don't want to have to worry about my clothes on a play date. I get mommies telling me all the time how they cant wear certain things especially while out with their kids. Since its so warm in California, crop tops get brought up all the time to me. "I have to much belly", "Girl these stretch marks", or "I just don't know how to wear them without feeling naked"........LOL yes these are the comments I get. And while yes they are valid concerns ladies you can still wear crop tops. Trust me! Here is the secret......*whisper*......wear a lower crop top with a high waisted bottom.
