So these few weeks I have been on a vacation from California. My husband went on leave so we could go see our family across the world on the east coast. We drove from California to North Carolina in two days.......yup you heard me TWO days!!! If you are wondering how its because we didn't stop at any hotels we just stopped at rest stops to take quick naps but that's all. Long story short, we got to North Carolina to see my husband's side of the family, stayed there for about a week, then drove to Virginia to see my side of the family for about a week. This was the first time our youngest son had ever been on the east coast at all and he had never even been in really cold weather like that either.
We got to see most of our family, my husband and I even got to spend some alone time together. We went to go see "The Best Man Holiday".......that had to be one of the best movies I have ever seen!
Now enough about our much needed trip, its time to talk about some casual ladies night outfits. We all managed to dress casual. I want to show women and moms in general that they don't have to get all dressed up because they heard the phrase "Ladies Night". Don't get me wrong its great to get your "Sexy Back" when you go out but you can still look cute being comfy and chic. On the left is Fechon, she is the new mommy out of the three of us. She is wearing a cute blazer with a tee underneath, distressed denim, and flat boots. She is also rocking one of my handmade scarfs! On my right is Netaliha, she is the mom of a toddler princess. She is wearing a cute polka dot button down, fitted dark denim, a fierce pair of wedge booties, and that short chic hair cut is laid hunny!!!!
Fechon is the wild card lol.....she can rock many looks, Netaliha is the girly girl out of us three, and I am the casual in between person.
My look(in the middle)was inspired by the look below. How did I do? I know its not the exact colors and I wish I did own a pair of those adorable pink flats but I think I did pretty good with what I already owned.
My friend Fechon is rocking one of my handmade scarves. What do you think? I been thinking about selling some or even starting a business. Would you purchase one if I did? Send me some input or just simply comment below.
I really miss my ladies! Having best friends across the world is hard but when we do get those chances to hang out its definitely worth it!
I think you did great! You can never go wrong with a great pair of jeans. And I would say yes to the selling your scarves..im all for handmade!
