TGIF


TGIF!!! Its funny how Fridays get me so motivated LOL! You would think it should be Monday which is the start of the week but my day is actually Friday. One reason is because get to spend family time and plus I just love the weekend! Any woo, I am still on my fitness journey but I have been slacking a LOT! Which has never been me but since moving to California and staying at home more I have really been out of myself. And lately I have been trying to get ME back. I have never been the workout type and I have always been naturally slim. After having two kids and getting older over these last 4 years of my life my body has dramatically changed.
 
I find myself not having any motivation so I decided to basically wing this experience. Here are a few tips I have picked up along this journey.
1.Be realistic with your fitness goals
2. Keep track of all progress
3. Don't expect perfection
4. Don't compare yourself to others
5. Make it fun
6. Make it convenient
7. Reward yourself
 
Another thing that gets me motivated is reading a book every morning called Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. Its a book full of devotions for every day of the year. It is an awesome book to have and it really helps make my day so much better. Gives me a better outlook before my day even gets started.
